The waking nightmare that has lasted more than fifteen years may have only just begun….

Note: Screenwriters for this movie reached out to tell me they loved the book. It was based on an early version of the script, and much of the psychological underpinnings that made the horror work were removed in the final shooting script, and more so in the editing process. This novelization is the only product that tells the whole story.
