Major Crimes Squad, Eldritch Chills, and More

Posted on

There’s lots of news in this one, so I’ll get right to it!

The first two books in my Major Crimes Squad: Phoenix police-procedural mystery series are up on Amazon for pre-order. As of this moment, only the Kindle ebooks are there, but the paperback versions should follow soon. The two are The Squad and The Storm, and they introduce Phoenix PD detective Russ Temple, who is picked to lead a brand-new squad intended to handle the headline-making cases that bring the most heat on the department. These go on sale September 27 and October 18, with the third, The Castle, following in November.

Next, my horror epic The Slab is part of a bundle of books from called the Eldritch Chills bundle! Curated by bestselling author Kevin J. Anderson, the initial bundle is four ebooks, including The Slab and The Burning Time by pal JG Faherty. Those four are yours for only five bucks. But if you can go up to $20, you get nine more books, including work by friends like Jonathan Maberry, Christopher Golden, James Moore, Seanan McGuire, and someone who inspires us all, Robert E. Howard. Get all the details here!

In audio news, my Tarzan novella Tarzan and the Forest of Stone is now available as an audiobook, read by the incredibly skilled John McLain. If you like listening to books, check out the audio sample at the link above.

Finally (whew, that’s a lot!) this weekend Marsheila (Marcy) Rockwell and I will be at the Tucson Comic-Con as Featured Authors. Marcy just got a box of her new Marvel novel Sisters of Sorcery, so it’ll be making its US debut at the con–more than two weeks before it’s officially available here! We’re in booths AA144/129, so check us out if you’re there!
