I don’t post every passing thought or action or bit of news on this blog, because that’s not really why I have it. Those things are more appropriate for social media (of which I probably have too many, including Facebook (separate pages for personal stuff, book and writing-specific stuff, and Silverado Press publishing news, and a few others), Bluesky, Twitter (used less and less these days), and MySpace (kidding!–although I once had an account there, back in prehistoric times). You can see everything on my Linktree, if you care to.
My newest one, though, is Substack. There, I’ll be posting autobiographical tales that are too long to be social-media-suitable, usually with photos; excerpts from works in progress, sometimes whole short stories, pages or stories from comics I’ve written–all kinds of fun stuff. Much of it will be available for free to everyone, but some of it–especially things like Substack-exclusive stories or even a new novel delivered chapter by chapter, will require a paid subscription to the site. Asking for money has always been hard for me, even though I know and appreciate that writers should be paid for the work they produce.
I’ll never rip you off. I might not post weekly, which is my goal. But when I do post it’ll be because I have something that I believe is worth sharing. I doubt that I’ll ever write an autobiography, but I’ve had an interesting life, met a lot of fascinating people–many famous, some not so much–and I want a forum to tell those tales.
So join me at my Substack! Get in on the ground floor so you don’t have to do a lot of catching up later. Here’s the latest post.

And thank you, as always for reading my work and being part of my life. I’m always a reader first, and I appreciate people who want to read me.
