For as long as this website and blog have been active, my posts here have hardly received any comments. Real ones, that is. Spam ones by the thousands, but a tiny handful of legitimate ones.
That’s okay. I’m very visible and available on social media, and in today’s world, that’s where most two-way and multi-way communication takes place. To save myself the weekly chore of disallowing hundreds of spam comments, I’ve had commenting shut down altogether. I’ll keep posting here periodically, of course. But if you’d like to comment on a post (and I love hearing from readers, even when they’re disagreeing or complaining about something), find me on one of my various social channels and do it there.
You can find all of my socials and more at my linktree.
Thanks, as always, for reading. Reading my stuff, of course, but reading in general as well. We’d all be better off if we all did more reading.
And because I like pictures, here’s one taken at the Grand Canyon National Park’s North Rim, before this week’s fire that devastated much of the visitor-facing infrastructure. I love the Canyon and would live there if I could.
